Silver Salt and Pixels
My desire to explore and create led me on a journey backpacking across North America, gutting fish on a boat in Alaska, photographing the effects of war in Mozambique, and chasing surf in the Philippines.
Photography set its hook at an early age. Composition and light fascinated me, and I exposed as much film as I could. Telling a story in a single frame was the ultimate challenge, until I started writing and directing video. Using a script to tell a story, images to provide a sense of place, and music to bring emotion offered a much more complex problem to solve.
My true passion is light. It’s subtle power drastically changes how we see everything.
